Implied Consent Recertification for 2026 is Now Live!
Attention Operators,
The 2026 Implied Consent Recertification course is now live and will be conducted entirely online. This training was developed in partnership with the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences and the National Center of Forensics at the University of Alabama to provide a comprehensive and accessible recertification process.
Course Details:
- Format: Module-based training with a written exam at the end
- Registration Deadline: December 15th at 11:59 PM
- Course Completion Deadline: December 31st at 11:59 PM
Important Information for Registration:
- Operators must register themselves for the course—training coordinators will not be able to register multiple individuals.
- Before registering, operators should check their permit status to confirm they need recertification.
- Who Needs a New Operator Course?
- Operators who did not attend a recertification class in 2024 or 2025
- Operators who previously failed a recertification course

NOTE 2: As in the past with in-person classes, your certification status will be updated within two weeks after completion of the course. We receive reports on a weekly basis.
