The Implied Consent Discipline of ADFS, through legislative mandate (§32-5A-194), administers the Breath Alcohol Testing Program more formally known as the Chemical Tests for Intoxication Program. The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences provides evidential breath testing instruments for use by the law enforcement community. These instruments are located at approximately 170 test sites housed at local County and Municipal facilities throughout the State.
